WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The U.S. Small Business Administration announced that it has selected American Defense Systems, Inc. (ADSI) of Hicksville, New York, as the 2007 Region II Prime Contractor of the Year. ADSI is a global leader and innovator in the design, manufacture and installation of comprehensive transparent and opaque armor crew protection kits (CPK) for military vehicles and construction equipment. Additionally, ADSI’s state-of-the-art bullet and blast resistant designs and products are used in a variety of architectural applications via customized security doors, windows and curtain wall systems. ADSI products and designs have consistently proven their exceptional reliability in support of military operations and reconstruction projects. ADSI products continue to prove their value in areas of the world where assets are threatened by IEDs, rocket attacks, and hostile elements.
